Buffalo needs some size up front and Faska gives them that. Faksa is another player that projects to be a safe bet to be a 2/3 line centre.

Huddle is gonna be pissed.

I think it would be a great pick up, I just think it is a bit of a stretch. Even so, he is what we need now... yet he probably wont be ready for this season. We still need to fill the current need from somewhere else

Seems cheap for Schnieder -- Won't you need our second round pick as well?

It is better to get a player from FLA. Then you know it a real player and not a fan hyped star.

So the whole NHL thinks he's overhyped since he was voted to the All Rookie team?
And I hope the draft turns out this way...Lovin' Galchenyuk

To say Buffalo would be more than a little happy to have Faksa fall to them is a big understatement.

I would be equally happy with Cody Ceci.
Guy looks like a potential beast.

Very excited at the prospect of a top 5 in Buffalo that looks like the following :

Myers, Ehrhoff, McNabb, Pysyk, Ceci

5-Toronto Maple Leafs- Alex Galchenyuk, C, Sarnia

The Leafs don't have a true number one centre on their team and only one player with that potential on the Marlies (I'll give you a hint, it's not Kadri). Galchenyuk is the best player and fits the Leafs needs.

If you're thinking Colborne, I'm gonna have to disagree.

No way Koekkoek or Lindholm slide that far in the draft. Koekkoek won't get past the B's if he's on the board and even that's a big stretch.

Played with a messed up wrist from December on. Was at a torrid pace until then. If he adds weight, I think he's gonna be a hell of a player. Just my opinion.

I also dislike Kadri, so yea...

But the guy called him a #1 Center. I don't think that even at his best he could be one. #2 sure... On a side note after watching him play with the marlies and the leafs a bit, he doesn't seem that creative.

Schultz:

Someone told me this morning that a source close to the team had mentioned the young defenseman. Let me say this: it's the first I've heard of it. But the overwhelming sense I got last night was that the Hawks have a long list of possibilities going into the draft, trades and free agency. So, yes, it is quite possible Schultz is on the list.

Slater could fall with that injury he had this year. He is a rounded defenceman. I think that benefits the canucks that he doesn't have 1 amazing category but several well rounded ones. I think he could become the next hamhuis very smart but does not excel in 1 category. Instead in several categories

MN would be thrilled if Grigs drops. We technically need a D, but Fletcher has also stuck to his guns saying he takes the best player available (of his list) and I have to think Grigs is up there. Also, Flahr said to Russo in a recent interview that the Russian Factor is more about teams not willing to put the proper energy into a players development to keep him in NA. They are not afraid to draft a russian, so if Grigs is there at 7, the Wild WILL be taking him, there isn't anyone at 7 that will be 'more talented'.

I think the Hawks are going goalie: Vasilevski or Subban
